Blind Bid Sale – Tamarack Room Furniture

We’re taking blind bids on the old tables, chairs, and carts from the Tamarack Room! Available items: 4 tables, 1 table cart, 55 chairs, 4 chair carts.

Stop by the Tamarack District Library front desk to fill out your blind bid form. Indicate the item(s) you want, how many, and your price per item. The highest bid for each item will receive the quantity they requested, and remaining items will be awarded to the next highest bids until everything is sold. Bids accepted until December 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. In-person bids only at Tamarack District Library ~all items are as is.

Library Strategic Plan

  • The library will continue to offer programs for all ages that are relevant, educational, informative, engaging and fun.  
  • The library will meet the needs of the community by distributing and sharing information and resources.
  • Staff will engage the community by offering groups and classes that will enhance recreational, informational, educational and cultural needs.
  • A youth librarian will join the library team to continue to build the tween and teen engagement. (Year 1)
  • The Library will partner with Lakeview Schools to enhance literacy and engagement. (Year 1)
  • Children and youth programs will be provided at parks in the service area.  (Year 2, 3)
  • Build a bookmobile giving easier library access to all in the service area. (Year 4, 5)
  • Collection development will continue to increase digital offering of eBooks. 
  • Staff will continue to inform, educate and assist patrons on library technology.
  • Landscaping will be renovated and maintained (Year 1) 
  • The damaged asphalt and concrete will be removed on the side yard. (Year 1, 2)
  • The library will build a pavilion in the side yard. (Year 2, 3)
  • A small parking lot will be constructed in front of the pavilion. (Year 3, 4, 5)
