Tamarack District Library and Lakeland Library cardholders can check out free and discounted passes to a variety of museums and cultural institutions throughout the area.
Library card holders must be over the age of 18 years.

Available Passes
Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum
The presidential museum and burial site of Gerald R. Ford, 38th U.S. president, and Betty Ford. One pass offered monthly; admits up to 6 people for one day. First come, first served; one checkout per year. Pass is kept by the museum at admission.
Grand Rapids Children's Museum
Hands-on learning space for kids ages 2–10 with a real beehive and workshops like robot building. Pass admits up to 6 people for one day. First come, first served; one checkout per year. Lost fee $25; late fee $.15/day.
Michigan Activity Pass
MAP lets Michigan library cardholders explore museums, parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas at free or discounted rates. Passes are reserved online up to two weeks ahead and often include a one-day free visit to participating state parks (some fees may apply).
Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum
Hands-on activities and crafts for kids 12 & under, plus math, science, and history exhibits. Pass admits 2 adults and 4 children for one day. First come, first served; one checkout monthly. Includes one day at Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum and one reciprocal museum. Lost fee $25; late fee $.15/day.
