A Gentle exercise combining slow movement, deep breathing and focused intention.  Modifications will be provided for those who want to attend seated or standing.

This session is to introduce you to Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention Program through MSU Extension. Tai Chi is a gentle exercise combining slow movement, deep breathing and focused intention. Tai Chi has been shown to: • Increase strength • Increase balance and posture • Prevent falls • Improve mind, body, and spirit • Reduce stress and increase relaxation You can participate seated or standing. You should wear comfortable shoes with backs on them, comfortable clothing, and bring water

We must have a minimum of 10 participants to sign up to run the class or whole class will be canceled. 

 You must be able to attend all sessions as the skills are added to each session.
