If you’re looking for a simple way to support the library, consider making an outright donation. Your gift helps fund new books, community programs, and lifelong learning for all.
At this time, we’re unable to accept online donations, but you can fill out the donation form and mail it with your check to:
Tamarack District Library
832 S. Lincoln Ave.
Lakeview, MI 48850
By donating to The Learning Tree you will help pay down the library building debt and maintain the library building. You will also support community outreach, such as our Bookmobile, which will break down access barriers and reach people who cannot get to the library due to physical, economic, social, or geographic reasons.
Donor Levels:
- Gold Leaf: Gifts of $10,000+
- Silver Leaf: Gifts of $1,000 - $9,000
- Bronze Leaf: Gifts $500-$999
- Book Spine: Gifts $100-$499
Donors will be recognized with an engraved gold, silver, or bronze leaf, or an engraved wooden book spine that are displayed throughout the library
Memorial/Honor
Books are a wonderful way to honor a special teacher, an accomplishment, or a job well done. They can be a way to say thank you or thinking of you. Books honor the memory of loved ones and serve as living tributes that enrich the community.
A bookplate will be placed in an honor/memorial book.
Adopt an Author
Do you have a favorite author and want to ensure the library always purchases their works? Do you want to be the first one to read the book? Consider the Adopt an Author program and commit to paying the cost of the book (at the discounted price the library receives) for the collection. When it is released, you will be the first to check it out to read it. See the front desk for a list of authors and to sign up.
