Join us for Beekeeping 101 and discover everything you need to know to start your own bee colony! This beginner-friendly session covers the essentials of beekeeping, including:

  • Understanding bee biology — the roles of the queen, workers, and drones
  • Basic hive management practices
  • Essential beekeeping gear (suit, veil, hive tool, smoker, and more)
  • Choosing a good apiary site with the right sun, water, and shelter
  • Installing bees and performing seasonal hive checks for colony health, pest control, and honey production

Whether you’re a new hobbyist or simply curious about the world of bees, this workshop will help you build a strong foundation for successful beekeeping.
