Items from Lakeland Library Cooperative may be available to reserve. TDL shall follow current policy of Lakeland Library Cooperative in the matter of reserves.
MELCAT LOANS
Materials outside Lakeland Library Cooperative may be requested from other libraries in the state of Michigan who participate in the MelCat system of interloans. This is a free service provided by the State of Michigan (Library of Michigan), and shall be made available to TDL patrons with a current library card, as long as that card has no outstanding fees or fine. TDL policy shall follow current MelCat policy.
The patron is responsible to return materials to TDL by their due date. Due dates and overdue fines are determined by the lending library. Any lost or damaged materials are the responsibility of the borrower and they may be charged up to $100.00 to replace the material, per current MelCat policy.
